Gee Brothers took over the company Letterpress of Cirencester in 2017, and both companies now operate from the same site in Battersea, since the Cirencester shop sadly closed in 2019. Together they have joined forces to continue to preserve traditional print methods, and keep producing fine quality work for many years to come.
Writing Paper (Letterpress of Cirencester)
Our luxury stationery papers are ideal for writing personal letters and are a high quality weight.
We stock a range of four colours, white, high white, oyster and cream, all of which are available in wove (smooth) or laid (textured) finish.
Matching blank sheets can be purchased separately.
We stock four standard sizes of paper: Albert Quarto (AQ) – measuring 8″ x 6″ (153 x 203mm) this size is similar to A5 (210 x 148mm), Post Quarto (PQ) – measuring 9″ x 7″ (178 x 229mm), Two-Thirds A4 – measuring 210 x 198mm and A4 – measuring 210 x 297mm.
Matching envelopes with a gummed-diamond flap or peel and seal closure are available for the sizes of paper.

Please check your original order carefully to make sure you choose the correct match and it is not avaliable to buy online, please state in the order notes at the checkout or contact our sales team. From time to time, due to forces outside our control, a particular paper range becomes unavailable. In such cases we will do the best we can to find a suitable replacement, but we cannot guarantee an exact match.
Your order includes a digital proof (PDF document) provided by email, giving a visual of your wording in your chosen typeface. Please note that the cost only covers a proof of one typeface choice. Up to two sets of minor adjustments can be made to your proof, free of charge. Any significant changes made to your order after you receive your proof will count as a ‘Major Change’ and will be charged additionally. A change of typeface counts as a major change.
